Laura Donegan

Hi, I’m Laura.

I’m a board-certified functional medicine coach, nutritional therapy provider, and NASM- and NESTA-certified personal trainer. My mission is to guide you toward sustainable lifestyle changes that help you feel your best today, so you can get the most out of your years ahead.

We can’t afford to take our health for granted. Here’s why:

  • 38% of U.S. adults have pre-diabetes, but 81% don’t even know it.

  • 350,000 hip fractures occur each year in the U.S., often leading to a loss of independence and the need for nursing care.

  • For menopausal women, blood sugar dysregulation and insulin resistance become significant challenges as hormones shift.

 

These statistics aren’t just numbers to me, they’re my call to action. But what brought me to this work is much more personal.

 

My story:
Growing up, I watched my father battle type 1 diabetes. Despite his relentless efforts to manage his condition through diet, exercise, and careful monitoring, he faced devastating complications, including neuropathy, joint deterioration, and eventually, the loss of his mobility. Watching my dad go through this, and the strain his health put on him and my family, taught me how fragile health can be. It’s why I’m so passionate about helping my clients make the most of the years they have.

 

I also know what it’s like to feel stuck trying every health trend, supplement, and quick fix, only to end up right back where you started. That’s why my programs combine fitness coaching and nutritional therapy to address not just how you feel today, but how you’ll feel decades from now.

 

Together, we’ll prepare you for the inevitable risks of aging—rising blood pressure, blood sugar imbalances, cholesterol issues, muscle loss, and joint stiffness—so you can thrive at every stage of life.
